Job Description

Are you looking for an exceptional work-life balance, excellent call and challenging cases? We are seeking new and experienced anesthesiologists to join our comprehensive surgical teams in Milwaukee. Positions are available for general and fellowship trained physicians.

Education, training and experience required:

  • Completion of an anesthesiology residency from an accredited program
  • Potential for fellowship trained in cardiac and neuro
  • Skills in all areas of general anesthesia
  • Patient focused with excellent communication skills
  • Collaborative team player

Program Overview:

  • Located at Aurora’s largest quaternary care facility, Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center
  • Established cardiac and abdominal transplant programs
  • Diverse general case mix includes general and vascular surgery, ortho, ENT, etc.
  • Strong interest in those with liver transplantation experience
  • Cardiac and neuro cases for those with subspecialty or fellowship training
  • Opportunity to do approximately 75% of your own cases with some medical direction of lower risk cases
  • Excellent call schedule with post call 1 and 2 guaranteed off
  • As staffing levels increase, post call 3 guaranteed off
