Job Description
Comprehensive Stroke Certification program seeks fellowship trained Vascular Neurologist to join busy and established team.
 
Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center is a flagship quaternary and tertiary hospital located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and part of Advocate Aurora Health, one of the top not for profit health systems in the nation, serving over 3 million patients across Wisconsin and Illinois. St. Luke’s Medical Center is a 700+ bed hospital and comprehensive stroke center that receives referrals from 14 additional Aurora facilities in Wisconsin.  
 
As a designated comprehensive stroke center participating in our 3rd accreditation process,  we are recognized as part of an elite group of industry leaders responsible for setting the national agenda in highly-specialized stroke care.  At Aurora St. Luke you will be supported by the Aurora Neurosciences Innovation Institute-a comprehensive, integrated, system-wide group of Neurosurgeons and Neurologists that are a part of an outstanding continuum of care.  
 
As part of our team you will: 
  • Provide dedicated stroke coverage
  • Participate in stroke call and  tele-stroke call
  • Provide out patient follow up in our stroke clinic
  • Participate in clinical research projects if desired.
  • Our multidisciplinary team is comprised of:
  • 27 Bed Neuro ICU
  • 24/7 Nurse stroke navigators 
  • Inpatient and outpatient Advanced Practice Providers 
  • Neuro Endovascular and Neurosurgery support
