Job Description
Advocate Aurora Health has a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic surgeon to join our trauma team and pick up extra shifts that will work into your current schedule. Our established team cares for patients at our Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Illinois, a Level I trauma center.
 
 Training and/or experience required:
  • Completion of an accredited general surgery residency program
  • Fellowship or extensive trauma experience required
  • Patient centered with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative team player
Program overview: 
  • Advocate Condell Medical Center is the only Level 1 hospital in Lake County offering around the clock care with a full complement of specialists available 
  • This is a per diem position where you will assist in providing trauma coverage at this Level I center
  • Supportive, respected partners
  • Trauma/emergent surgical cases include blunt and penetrating trauma, head injuries, hernias, appendix, bowels, etc.
  • Trauma call schedule could include weekday and weekend call; weekend call is generally Friday p.m. through Sunday a.m.
