Advocate Health is seeking highly engaged board certified vascular surgeons to assist in the development and growth of our vascular program at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois. Our desire is to create a smooth process and provide a high level of care to patients across the South Chicagoland area.

  • Two openings - full-time Vascular Surgeons
  • This is a start-up program due to the high need for services from Advocate Medical Group physicians. 
  • Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn is an 802-bed Level 1 trauma center, premier teaching institution and major referral center; Advocate South Suburban is a 231-bed community hospital that has provided care to the residents of Hazel Crest and the surrounding communities since 1971
  • Our vascular surgery team will be part of the Advocate Medical Group practicing in the South Chicagoland area; hospital locations will include Advocate Christ Medical Center and South Suburban Hospital
  • Huge referral base from over 200 primary care physicians and APCs
  • Clinic space with 6 exam rooms and vascular ultrasound room that will be used for in-office procedures; staff will include a RN and CMAs
  • Shared space with Cardiovascular Services for direct referrals
  • You will have the opportunity to do the full breadth of vascular procedures and interventions, no general surgery will be required
  • Excellent support from multiple hospitals, creating opportunity for growth and practice establishment
  • Diverse patient population in the south Chicagoland area will provide a robust opportunity to see a variety of patients and all levels of complexity
  • EPIC EMR
Training and/or experience required
  • Vascular Surgery Fellowship or integrated training program required
